Havasu and VJ. All the stuff from Tull is just fantastic. I loved hearing him back in the day. And actually got to see Tull at a small venue concert twice in the 2000's. Ian Anderson wasn't quite as good then. But the band still performed pretty good. I thoroughly enjoyed the shows. and wish i had got to see them back in the day.
Alvin Lee and Ten Years after was very much underrated IMO. He was a master on the guitar. Pat Travers is another I put in that class. Here is one of his songs:

Another great you've never hear of.....

And how many of you have ever heard of Big Mama Thornton?

Then there's Duane Eddy....

And for pure pleasure...

Will close out with a couple personal favorites....Preacher Jack, and Rick Derringer...

Wow Duane Eddy. Thats a name I haven't heard in years. He was an awesome player.

Here is an old album by the Rolling Stones that has the rare 12+ minute version of Midnight Rambler...awesome version!! I will also post a couple more "old timers" that you may remember but haven't heard in quite a while.

Nicky Hopkins....perhaps one of the greatest piano sidemen of all time.

Ry Cooder...another one of the old greats...

You'll all probably enjoy these, too....

And I'll leave you with a couple specials for all you Kentuckians and Tennesseans.....

Back for a little while...Hank Williams Jr. does the blues...The Pressure is On...(and more in the mix)

Then there's Don Henley with Dirty Laundry....

Out of the dozens of genres, let's take three...Rock, Country, and Blues......in your opinion, give the best and second best artist/band in each. I'll go first!
ROCK: Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix
COUNTRY: Hank Williams, Jr., Willie Nelson
BLUES: B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughn

Wow, that is a hard assignment! (Just threeeee? Oh my, oh me....this might take a while, but I will have fun)

Ha ha... Do the Allman Brothers classify as a blend of Blues/Rock/Deep South Country???
