So yes, if you have passed that magical age where people still enjoyed your smiling face, you are the best gift giver you have. So what did you get yourself for Christmas because no one else was going to get it for you? :lol:

I got a bathroom, garage door opener and sectional couch. :drinking:

I bought myself 40 bags of mortar, 600 8" blocks, 9,900 board feet of poplar and pine lumber.
 
So far I bought myself some chocolates as stocking stuffers. I am hoping for a motorcycle though ;)

I got a week off of work the 2nd week in January or ........... If my Sooners win the Rose Bowl on January 1st, my wife and I will be going to the National Championship game in Atlanta. It's kind of both of our Christmas presents.
 
I got me an Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8 tablet for $50. I like to play games on my Galaxy phone in bed before sleeping so I got the tablet instead. Bigger screen and more memory means lots of games to choose from. :lil guy:
 
A new 8-port gigabit switch, new dual-band router to use as a second Access Point (still trying to decide on which model), and some more Cat-5e cables. Oh, and an Amazon Echo Dot. Actually bought three of those for my mom, but I think now she'll only get two after I absconded with one for myself. Also picked up a second Raspberry Pi to use as a dedicated Nextcloud and Calibre server. Outside of the electronics, I also bought myself two additional Morakniv heavy-duty Companions when Amazon put them up on sale last week. Now I see they're on further sale for even cheaper this week!

If you haven't gotten yourself any Moras, go get some. Even high end knife snobs like them. Excellent knives, and dirt cheap.

A Champion electric motor powered clay pigeon thrower and a case of Remington 12 ga target shells. I got both when they were on sale. My wife wrapped them, put them under the tree, and won't let me have them until Christmas.

I'd love to get a bike but with my health issues it would need to be a trike. There was one at the bike shop last year that was a custom made Harley trike but I couldn't get a loan for it or any standard bike for that matter,my credit sucks right now.

I know a guy who just sold his trike for a ridiculously low price. It was a Goldwing. I got to drive it before he sold it. It was fun but not what I want for now.

I understand that,I was just saying with my leg issues I doubt I could hold a heavy bike up long,in fact some days even a small bike up long,I'd much rather have a bike than a trike. 2 thumbs up to you for getting a bike or 2,I envy you in a way.

Sorry if I came off as rude. I am all for people getting whatever is right for them. I don't think I would even try the 2 wheel version of a heavy bike right now. That is why I am looking at starting on something that is small and easy to manage.

No you didn't come off as rude,I just thought you thought I was suggesting you getting a trike when I wasn't,I just wanted you to know I wasn't trying to persuade you is all and I wish I could get a bike like you're doing is all.
 
Sigh!! Me too. I started riding when I was 15. Had to quit in 2011 after spine fusion. To many crashes I guess. Especially when I used to race proffesional motocross.

The TW200s are really nifty off-road bikes (useless for highway riding). I sold mine to get a KLR650. Bad mistake by me.
