Cascais Portugal… I dare anyone to have a few drinks and then try to cross this street. When the bars closed the street looked like a mass causality event.

The first time I tried to walk across it I was cold sober, young, healthy, in the military… I didn’t make it 10ft before I fell down.

The entire street is an optical illusion. I hated it! And most of the town looked like this. The locals like it... Of course, they are used it and they get to laugh at tourist falling down year round.

On the other hand it could be a sobriety test... If you can't walk across the street to your car you shouldn't be driving!

If you don't think it has been an odd year for weather and plants, look at this lilac bush that is blooming in South Dakota in October! Normally, lilacs are close to being done blooming by late May. Not the prettiest bush, but those lilacs?

Air conditioner level setting. Rolled all the way one direction AC off, the other AC on. May be paired with similar units to facilitate cross ventilation.

My grandpa had those delivered to his house every week.

You were supposed to put it back up on the dash when you were done with it otherwise it would fall out through the rusted out floorboard.

Best I recall...there was just like a big bump thingy , so the bucket handle wouldn't slide off.

That's what I remember too but I didn't know what to call it so figured hook worked, but it was really a bump thingy. To my knowledge, they were cast so not really descript parts like something that was put together from parts.

We have some of the outdoor anti freeze faucets up on the mtn that look like the old pumps. They still have the nubs on them for buckets.
