Eeeeyeeewww!
Boxed Mac & cheese? Even worse than that canned veggies? from a store?
Excuse me, I need a bucket.
It has been a lot of years since I have had store bought canned veggies as I learned how much better frozen veggies were than canned.
I have been making my own Mac and Cheese since I moved out from home. It is better for you, it tastes better and it is less expensive.
Anything that comes in a box you can make better and cheaper yourself.

Sorry, I seem to be in one of those moods today...

I don't eat macaroni, but I make one heckuva Cauliflower & Cheese.

Tonight I am making a low carb charcuterie board.

Yummy brunch... 2 eggs sunny side, thick slice bacon, home fries and toasted italian bread with amish butter & blackberry jam... Think I'll take a nap in my recliner now...

I found wings on sale again last night. $4.32 for 12 wings whole. Sooo! wings for dinner with potato salad from a new place I found, my new favorite.

I love that, "Amish Butter".
Sorry, Peanut, not to make fun. But it's funny to me.

It's a big thing around here. We’ve all had Amish produced canned goods in the past or purchased furniture etc. but only when traveling. There are no Amish living in these parts to trade with, at least within 200 miles.

The little produce market I’ve been stopping at suddenly getting Amish jellies, jams, pickled this or that or butter really is a big deal! Guess what a lot of people I know are now getting for Christmas? :D And they are going to love it! ;)

My wife texted me and said "Let's order in for dinner", which is very rare. So I am guessing we will have the Greek place deliver some gyro meat, tzatziki sauce, and Greek salad (cucumbers, tomatoes, black olives, feta cheese, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and Greek seasoning).

@Amish Heart The butter is a very pale yellow, not daffodil yellow at all. The price was about $1 per pound cheaper than what I pay for the KerryGold Irish butter that I buy anyway and tastes a lot better.

I've already tossed the label. I'll check it again next time I'm at the produce market, probably monday. My mom is supposed to be transferred to another facility for rehab on her knee replacement sometime monday...

Edit here is a copy of the label image... Packaged by Troyer Cheese Co. Millersburg Ohio

Tonight was the first time I fixed an entire meal for my dad. Granted the potato salad was from a new deli I found (so good) and the pickled beets were from the little market. He loves both, especially pickled beets.

I fried a big batch of wings, his favorite part of a chicken. I used fresh Italian bread to make garlic toast with fresh crushed garlic. I had lemon cake and peach pie to choose from.

He and I were both stuffed. Crap… I had deviled eggs in the fridge and forgot to put them out. :(
