Hey, @Flight How about resizing those photos? It took 10 minutes to download the "old house" over my satellite. It's 8000 pixels X 6000 pixels and 20MB in size. That's 6% of my daily allowed internet usage.

In comparison this stove is 675 pixels X 900 pixels and 105KB in size. Just asking.... :)

Thanks @Guardian Cameras these days take gigantic photos. I'm sure some can send directly to the internet.

My camera takes photo's in the 3000 pixel X 4000 pixel range. But, since I'm on a metered satellite account I resize everything I post to something much smaller. They view fine in the forum even if I lower the resolution to the 72dpi range.

I get 10GB of usage per month which is about 333MB per day. If I go over one day I have to use less the next. It's the only internet available to me.

You might want to look for a browser extension that limits download of large images. I figured somebody had to have created such a thing. So I searched, and did find one that is available for both Firefox and Chrome.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tunable-image-block/
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tunable-image-block/agpjllgcceliiblmebkbiccaaldfedbc
Note: I have not used this extension myself. I just did a search, it showed up, and I'm forwarding that info to you so you can look into it if you're interested. It appears that this extension has not been updated for 4 years however. There may be other extensions that do the same thing that are more recently maintained.

Down in the description of the extension, it says:
Don't forget to set default image max.size in the Options of the extension.

If you want to see only small images(like icons) but cut off the big then set image max.size between 1K-5K.
That sounds like it might be useful for you - set your max image download size, bigger images will be blocked, but you could downlod them manually if you really wanted to see them.

Sorry about that, I was wondering why my pic didn't show properly, now I know.

my clematis blooming.
Which species of clematis do you have? 3 species grow wild in the southeast, 2 have white blooms and the other has a pale green bloom. One is native, the other 2 are escaped ornamentals that were native to Japan. "Devil’s Darning Needles" is the name of our native species.

All 3 are medicinal, all 3 are used to treat migraines here in the US. In Australia the aboriginal name for clematis means "Headache Vine". So yes, there are many other species.

Anyway, just curious about which species you have. I've never seen one with that color blooms.

Edit to add... here it the bloom of our native species... fuzzy green/white blooms... you should recognize the leaves below it.

I have two clematis. They are definitely greenhouse cultivars. The one I planted this year that is still quite young and growing is called Samaritan Jo. The one I posted that I planted last year and is currently blooming is called Pink Champagne, as best as I can remember.

I edited to the part I'm talking about.

You might want to consider https://www.starlink.com/faq I'm not to sure of the cost to purchase the unit or how much per month, but according to the FAQ you have unlimited data. worth a look.
