Concern about missing members

I had a heck of a day.I t all started out warm and fuzzy and turned into buzzard poo poo.
Guy contacts me and wants a holster built for a 1863 schofield I tell him yes i will make that. But I need a mold of the gun or the gun itself to fit the holster to. .
He sends me a Italian made replica that costs about $80.00. wants to know if that is ok? LOl I sad yes. So i start the build. I get about 97% complete. and then Punched a hole for a rivet in the wrong spot. DAMN this holster is TRASHED
OK..going into overdrive. I cut out 2 more pieces of leather and coat one side each with glue.
When i flip them over to stick them together. glue had seeped out via a punched hole
DAMN DOUBLE DAMN
I toss it against the wall, cat runs. wife faced turned red.
Here we going one time more.
This time i completed the holster, and wet formed it. set it on the shelf and went to bed
i wake up and go check on it. DAMN TRIPLE DAMN DAMN

Where the leather folds over the back for the belt strap. It had a crack n the leather. Not my fault. some leather does that. So. I went into MacGyver mode and fixed it.
This damn build has been a straight up pita from get go. But I am proud of the outcome

Sounds like one of my in-laws "requests". Give ya just enough information to get you to say yes, then as the project unfolds, add more details and obstacles.

I go out and do a little at a time, trying to do a little each day. I am not always successful with that. I could spend a few full days out raking, pruning, digging, amending, planting. I start at the front with raking. Some days I do one bed, others I fill the trash bin. I will go back after I am all done with raking, then sweep, clean it up. Last year I ended up with around twenty 55 gallons bags of yard debris. The other part of this is to get some out in the trash each week, until we have large item pickup, which is now only every eight weeks. That is a long time for bags to be piled up.

Frodo, let's hope the guy sent you the right replica & that it fits. Sounds like the kind of trouble I would have making things. Which reminds me, I need to get on to working on making things - after I get my bathroom floor fixed & house cleaned.

I kinda miss Sentry too, He was on the other site with us for several years before we came here.but he never did like me,but I think he is a good man,good father,husband , cop and a Christian. Must have been something I said.I hope he is ok and having a good life in his new job and careful.

It would take a lot more than something you said to drive him away. I can't remember Sentry ever having a problem with anyone bad enough to drive him away. He's a big boy and can take care of himself.
I suspect it's job-related like the last time.

OH NO I can't drive him away! Never said that Backlash,just said I don't miss the trolling me but do have lots of resoect for him otherwise Me and Sentry had lots of political disagreements on both sites,lol. He is just too much like me likes a good debate I guess.

I still have the issue of an unavailable email as my contact email, in my account though.
I suspect if I try to change it , it will make me go to that old email for a code , which I cannot get to.

Which I cannot get into.
