That should say "Happy Christmas and Merry New Year" because old Brandon can't even get a mistake right.

A Thanksgiving Wish

None now know what the world will look like in a year. I think most of us would agree that monumental changes are taking place… With the over riding question “Will we live as free men?”

I’m reminded of a time not to long ago when some of our family members fought and died for freedom. The parallels between then and now are startling...

I offer a song written in 1982, that would have been just as beautiful in 1862, and felt just as strongly by those hearing it…

Ashokan Farewell

And finally a letter written by a man named Sullivan Balluo to his wife, Sarah. With the reminder that the price of freedom is always high… And with special thanks to those who paid all and for the promise that our children will soon live free!

Wife and I have seen , up close , 2 fatal accidents , just this week.

Thankful that my guardian angel is working overtime for me.
I'm thankful....

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends here.
Be careful y'all.

Jim
My observation this week is that some people have decided stop signs and lights are optional. There was a really bad accident that I didn't see, but was described to me. The front of the car was torn off because of impact, in a 35 mph zone. Someone was not going 35 or even close, evidently.

I thought it was just stupid Texas drivers! It's like people have no idea that the windshield is for looking out of so one can see that their are other people on the road!!!

Some of the letter was left out, but what love this man had for his country, his God, and his family. Isn't that exactly what it is all about.
Thanks Peanut.
This is never an easy holiday for some of us.
