From what I've heard, 5G is slated to go into effect this Wednesday. Although not within 2 miles of any airports, b/c of the fear that these signals will interfere with aviation electronics.

It's just more 'technology' with no known long term side effects. We are simply lab rats.

ETA: If this has long term effects of killing off our pollinators (which are already in a fragile state) then we are in some serious trouble. I can't believe this isn't THE topic of discussion on every 'news' channel everywhere. They are messing with technology and exposing everyone on the planet to it without their consent. I've been dreading the development of 5G. What could possibly go wrong? It just seems the ways big corporations are killing us are coming from every angle these days......toxic food, water, air, health care, and now.......radiation being masked as superior wifi technology. Will this madness ever end?

you know what this reminds me of? just like the pharmas experimenting on us, Knowing the injections can cause harm and even kill people at a certain ratio and they dont give a damn. its all an experiment and they make trillions while we get sick and die slowly.

If you have a good memory, it is the same exact thing we went thru when:
3G was introduced. It's digital microwaves and those towers will kill everybody with their radiation! gaah
When 4G was introduced. If you hold the phone to your head, the high-power microwaves will give you brain cancer!gaah
You might as well stick your head in a microwave oven!
And they will jam all the electronics on an airliner and cause them all to crash!
Didja ever wonder why every phone magically already has an "airplane mode" on it before 5G?
Then we found out later that it was just so they could could tell you: "You will have to use the phone on the seat in front of you, that costs $8 a minute"😄.
No planes had a problem.

Well I hope you're right Sup. But really, how much can humans mess with nature and think that nothing bad will happen? At some point, we've got to say 'hey, wait a minute......how about we do some actual scientific research before bombarding the whole world to more microwaves.' I, for one, think that pumping the brakes on this whole thing would be a better way to approach this as opposed to just letting it ride and see how it goes.

BTW, I do think cell phones have been linked to cancers. It's a choice as to whether or not you use a cell phone. It's not a choice (for most people) on whether or not they can escape living close to a cell tower or transmitter. Don't you think some studies are warranted?

Do you actually think the years of research and work to bring this technology into existence didn't involve studies of, the strength of the signal, at this frequency, to this distance, how much power will show up, were not key to the development?
The exposure thresholds of microwaves on biological beings was painfully studied in great detail in the 50's and 60's. They have known the 'danger parameters' for decades.
Don't you fear the much higher power microwaves from all the GPS satellites that are constantly beaming us around the clock, from 240 miles away? Do you know how 'hot' a signal has to be to make it 240 miles? Oh, and it's a BUNCH of them beaming us, all at the same time.

Personally, I think miniskirts are way too short and illegitimate births will flood this country soon...
...sorry, I thought it was still in 1965.

i tend to think of how many things over the years weve been told---hey this is good and really neat and we need this and don t look over there how it causes harm to people=--you ignorant anti-scirnce hillbilly. this 5G crap is just one more thing

listening to the docs explaining the cellular damge and long term harm, and then listienfing to the big wigs pushing this as in hey this is fine, no problem, we all gonna have an easier faster life for internet and cell phones---hey whats the problem.... and hey, we got plans for 6G next year that will make all AI robots come alive ---whats the prob?

Did you watch the video? The makers of this technology and the companies pushing it have admitted that they haven't done long term studies on health. Their words, not mine. Do you really think they studied all the effects of these new miracle waves on bees and other bugs that humans rely on for food? I don't. But when the bees start the die off, maybe then the research will be complete. Gee, I hope by then we will have found a way to pollinate by means other than bees, right?

This is not the only research I have seen on the topic, nor is this the only video I have seen either. I have looked into it and it is the reason I have decided not to cave to the new 'smart' meters. I don't give a crap if folks think I'm a 'conspiracy theorist' or not. Call me all the names you want, I'll do my due dilligence to keep me and my family safe, even if I have to do it alone.

Sorry Sup, but NO, I do not trust these mega corps to have my best interest at heart....or anyone else for that matter.

I skipped around trying to find anything scary in that video. I will omit diving into the physics but it is not the frequency that is the issue but rather the intensity of the radiation. The intensity drops off with the square of the distance. Double the distance 1/4 the power.

I really liked the part about how 5G caused covid/causes you to get covid.
I gotta give them props for creativity.
Wikipedia said:
In the early months of the pandemic anti-lockdown protesters at protests over responses to the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia were seen with anti-5G signs, an early sign of what became a wider campaign by conspiracy theorists to link the pandemic with 5G technology. There are two versions of the 5G-COVID 19 conspiracy theory:
  1. The first version claims that radiation weakens the immune system, making the body more vulnerable to SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19).
  2. The second version claims that 5G causes COVID-19. There are different variations on this. Some claim that the pandemic is coverup of illness caused by 5G radiation or that COVID-19 originated in Wuhan because that city was "the guinea-pig city for 5G".

One important point is the higher frequency had less penetration than the lower frequency. 5G would be more likely to burn our skin than penetrate into the brain etc. If your ears are burning , it is time to hang up the phone and accept the fact someone is talking about you (hopefully good).

Microwaves, or any waves for that matter are not my forte'. It's just not my area of expertise and I'm not afraid to admit it. I hope it all works out for the best but I'm not going to trust big business to do anything to ensure my health. Quite frankly I think technology has been rolling out a bit too quickly for me. That is just my nature. I like to keep with the old tried and true and don't need the new latest and greatest to make me happy.

This seems to fit here......

Being cautious about new technology is good but videos like that would have all be luddites.

One of Clark's 3 laws goes...

The reason I said balderdash is the Navy trained me about radar (microwave energy) 45 years ago then studied electrical engineering and physics in college.

Scary videos like that one take advantage of the fact most people have not studied that stuff.

Please allow me to try and explain what factors are at play with a thought experiment and a little hand waving.

Handwaving
Light is radiated energy like microwave energy.

Thought experiment
Imagine I light a candle and put a cover over so no light gets out.

I then remove the cover and then replace the cover in a split second. For that split second i can see the light and then it is dark again.

Imagine you are a mile away and observe 5he faint flash of light after a short delay because it takes some time for the light to travel to you.

Imagine someone a light year away observes the very faint flash a year later.

The prorogation of the flash can be understood as an expanding bubble on light energy with darkness on the outside and inside and light on the surface if the bubble.

As the bubble ( sphere) expands the surface area of the sphere increases and the light energy is spread out over a larger area. The amount of light energy stays the same but it is spread out over a larger area. So as the the sphere expands the amount of light energy has to spread out.

Somewhere back in in our time of learning about geometry we learned that the surface of a sphere is proportional to the square of the radius of the sphere. That is why I asserted that the energy density of of radiation diminishes as the radius squared.

Most of has seen this effect if trying to read by oil lamp light. Sit next to the lamp and we can read ok. Across the room it gets hard. 100 yards away no go.

Light and microwave energy are both electromagnetic energy but we can see light but our eyes can not see microwave energy.

I hope that this attempt to translate the science into an understandable form.

Trying to help.

CEOs From Major US Airlines Warn 5G Technology Could Ground Planes

https://www.theepochtimes.com/ceos-...m_source=partner&utm_campaign=TheLibertyDaily
Now that is horse of a different color.

5G uses frequencies that are near the same frequencies as used by the navigational and weather radar. 5G could mess with the radar.

Imagine trying to listen to a guitar solo at the same time your brother and sister are blasting their own songs. It could become difficult to determine what you are hearing.

Radar depends on the receiver listening for reflected energy and if there are a dozen stereos blasting at the same time...

I'm glad I won't be flying tomorrow.....

Scary videos like that one take advantage of the fact most people have not studied that stuff.
Did you watch it? All of it? They were asked questions in congress that they wouldn't or couldn't answer. Questions that were asked by Blumenthal, a Dem no less (which I found surprising). Doesn't that seem strange to you? If I were a CEO of a major corp that was the leader in this technology, I can assure you, I'd be very well versed in this area and able to answer the questions of those who were asking. I'd tout 3rd party studies and results that showed the new technology to be safe. However, if I were a CEO of a major corp and I knew that this new technology could harm people (or animals that people depend on), I'd put an end to it and tell people why. Sorry, but I don't trust any CEO's this day and age to do that.

But, hey, I'm sure nobody who lives within a few feet of any of these 5G towers will have any negative side effects at all. Certainly not immediately, in a few days, months, or years.....nah, it'll all be fine. This is just another reason I'm thrililed not to live in a city, but these towers can pop up anywhere....even in my backyard.....and without my consent. Color me sceptical that absolutly nothing bad will happen. And no, I don't trust the .gov to have done all the studies and then to be completely honest with Joe Public on whether or not it is harmless. Geesh, you'd think I was a vet that was sprayed with agent orange or something, eh?

iim not trying to be a PIA but f all those doctors s with their research data warning aovbut harmful health effects are lying that is one thing but the COEs didnt dispute or have opposite safety data, they just sort of blew it off saying, well, we dont have that info. just like all others hiding stuff they dont want to be held accountable for. they were just tap dancing, like fauci does. see to me, sometimes what people dont say or how they skirt a question will tell alot more if there is safety research done showing 5G will not cause any health problems or harm, id like to see it and compare with the other sides data. if the data of those warning about safety concerns is not legitimate--where is the resaearch data of the pro-5G countering that data proving it is safe?

i remember decades ago info started coming out that people who lived under or near electric lines had a higher rate of cancers. i remember some back and forth to try to discredit it but it was never discredited just ignored. over time.

kinda like fluoride in our drinking water was good for us
GMO will save mankinds food , and industry pushed cancer treatments of radiation and chemo dont cause more cancers

anyone old enough to remember the ads for cigarettes with 'doctors' saying how good they are?

big business lies
big tech lies
big govt lies
big pharma lies

im starting to think a super EMP or CME might not be such a bad thing in the long run for mankind

Landmark study on 5G technology highlights health threats

For their report, the commission was tasked with answering eight pointed questions. These included:

  1. Why the insurance industry has exclusions for RF-related damages
  2. Why cell phone manufacturers have legal advice warning users to distance themselves from their phones
  3. Why thousands of peer-reviewed studies on RF that show it can cause health problems like DNA damage and brain tumors have been ignored by the Federal Communication Commission (FCC)
  4. Why FCC guidelines do not account for health risks associated with wireless technology
  5. Why the FCC RF limits are 100 times higher than those in other countries
  6. Why the World Health Organization (WHO) classified wireless radiation as a possible carcinogen
  7. Why more than 200 scientists signed an appeal to the WHO to protect the public from wireless radiation yet nothing has been done
  8. Why the health effects of pulse signals riding on electromagnetic waves have not been explored

The FCC does have quite extensive requirements for evaluating radio transmissions for health. Even as an individual ham radio operator you have to go through these evaluations (not for handhelds, but for your base station).

Here's a link to what the FCC has to say about checking for RF exposure problems:

https://www.fcc.gov/general/radio-frequency-safety-0https://transition.fcc.gov/Bureaus/Engineering_Technology/Documents/bulletins/oet65/oet65b.pdf
And ARRL:

It would be quite the exaggeration to imply "they haven't looked into it".

For RF emissions, distance is your friend. And you don't need to be miles away. Sure, if you're standing one foot in front of an antenna hooked to a high power transmitter, you might experience some problems after a long high duty cycle exposure (you'll probably move before anything bad happens, because the tingly warm may alarm you). Move back 10 feet and you have significantly lowered your exposure. 100 feet (I doubt anyone could even get this close to a 5G tower antenna) and your exposure is cut way way back. Driving in your car 1/4 mile away is not going to be a problem. It's kind of the same thing as the microwave oven in your kitchen. Climbing into the thing while it's cooking is probably not a good idea. But standing back two feet from it is OK.

I looked up to see what power a 5G antenna array transmits at. It looks like the large ones are about 120 watts. Compare that to your kitchen microwave where even the small ones are 1000 watts these days (true, a microwave oven is haphazard leakage transmission, they don't have antennas). But still, most people have no qualms about standing two feet (or closer) to a microwave oven. Yet they've overly concerned about a 5G antenna 1/4 or more miles away?

Yes, of course 5G antennas need to be evaluated for safety. But they already have been, for years as they were developed. Still, it's good to keep an eye on safety. But I fail to give much credence to people spreading fear that commuters are going to melt as they drive by a 5G antenna, and then they walk over to cook their hotdog in the microwave oven running full steam two feet away.

It would be quite the exaggeration to imply "they haven't looked into it".
Did you watch the video? The people raising questions are not quacks and their questions get skirted. The big corp leaders are squirming with the questions. Why is that?

Call me crazy, but I put very little faith in what any alphabet agency says it truth. We've been lied to over and over again, yet we are supposed to believe that if they say something is safe, it most certainly is? I'm sure they know way more (either negative or positive) about this technology than they will ever admit. In addition, unless they also have a time machine, they don't know the long term effects of 5G on wildlife or humans. I don't trust AT&T, .gov, or any large corporation to provide all the information they have to the public. They simply cherry pick what they want Joe Public to know and run with it, hoping nobody asks questions or tries to push back.

Conflating this with microwave ovens doesn't work for me. I have a choice of whether or not to use a microwave and I choose how far away from it I want to be if I decide to use it. With 5G that won't be an option, regardless if it is safe or not.

Did you watch the video?
I haven't. Because this is what I see for the original post:

There could be a problem if you choose to trespass and climb their tower to get close to the antennas, yes. But you do have a choice to do that or not. If you don't lay siege on their antennas and try to snuggle with them, there is no problem. I read a summary of a study that found that being within one meter (about 3 feet) of an illuminated light bulb in your house results in radiation exposure (in the same frequency spectrum) of about one million times higher dose than exposure to a 5G antenna array. (I do not recall if the study mentioned what home light bulb technology they measured - incandescent, fluorescent, or LED.)

This is not some new, never seen before, radio spectrum. Airplanes and airports have been using it for navigation for quite some time. Your house light bulbs have been pulverizing you with it for decades. Your microwave oven has been emitting it for many years. You have already had more exposure to it than 5G will give you. Chances are high that AT&T, Verizon and the others are not trying to intentionally kill off their customers. I am not with the group that believes every new technology, every new vaccine, every new treatment drug, is a plot to kill everyone off. I will listen to evidence, but I don't assume the worst from the get-go driven by websites that nobody has ever heard of. Now, I don't know which website posted the video in question since I can't see it in the original post, but some here have a knack for digging up links from unusual news sources. So my assumption is that this is probably not a website anyone has heard of. Maybe somebody who can see the video can tell me what website it was posted on since I can't see that myself. Maybe this one comes from a known and respected source. My guess is that I can't see it because my web browser extensions that block malicious and advertising content have identified it.

5-G causes "Wokeism and Snowflake brains"
Smartphones certainly do.
You don't need to watch an hour-long video of 'experts' to see this.
Simply walk out your door and see the zombies that your fellow citizens have become.
Most spend 90% of their waking hours in a trance looking at one. (The other 10%, they are using TP ).
Granted, it isn't the phone that is dangerous, but the endless stream of mind-control crap on it.
If someone made the argument that 5G only furthers this dangerous addiction, they would have a valid argument.

If high-power microwave transmissions were so dangerous, the "million-watt microwave weather radar" that every TV station has now, constantly beaming all of us, they would have killed us all a decade ago.
If you are worried about 5G cell tower transmissions, look into those monsters!

And they are EVERYWHERE!gaah

Yup it is your option

I don't have that option after The Princess hand me my new cell phone that is 5G.

Provided you are not doing online gaming where high latency makes the game less responsive, you may never see the difference.

technology is very addicting adn thats thew way its planned. we think we are saving time and making things easier but i dont buy that its worth it in the long run.

i hgad a cell phone once for a very, cery short time. i didnt like it owning me and realixzed it was stealing time from eme cause thats what it felt like. i know, im b ackwards. but i got a land line with an answer machine. if the phone rings i pick up if i feel like it or someone leaves a message if its important. i dont like a phone being the boss of me.
yeah i know, im a caveman.
