A guy that lived about 5 miles from me growing up had 2 of them. You could hear him coming up the highway from a mile off. And usually pretty fast
Speaking of Fords, David Pearson did get famous for driving them. He was second to Petty in wins. I loved watching them dual it out
They were heavy breathers!
Of course he never told you that the average for them was 6mpg, maybe 8mpg if you stayed out of the back barrrels

What about a truck? This guy has an imagination! But it's like he tried to hard, didn't know when to stop. At some point I'm sure it looked cool but this guy took it all the way to silly.
There is a method to his madness.
So much to see in those pictures, but you have to zoom in and look close.
The truck is a ruse to con people into racing him at the track so he can make money.
One look at the truck and it's obvious he's an idiot; easy money!
Pic#1: Notice he took the back fenders off that hide the slicks on the back. (they are back on in #2).
Pic#2: Woulda missed the spiderweb backrest in the bed of the truck.
Notice the angle of the 2 white paint buckets in the bed. Inside of them are 2 big blue bottles full of nitrous.
Pic#3: Thank goodness they zoomed in on the diesel piston tail lights!....I woulda totally missed the wheelie bars.
Pic#4 Is the most important and telling. I can promise you that the hood is not open at the track.(yes I noticed the mouse playing dead on the radiator
)Under the hood is a serious engine that somebody spent untold hours building that is sporting a 250-HP nitrous rig. You can see the red-blue, red-blue, tube fittings on the injectors. If that wasn't enough, that big black block under the carb, is a spray-bar rig that will pour even more nitrous and gas into the engine.
(didja notice the scorpion on the roof?)
On Topic: I owned one of these and drove it for years. Plenty of room in the back for nighttime fun
