I was one number off, it's a slicer!!

You have fancy nails.
There's a story behind this. I missed a family Sunday dinner because of Mother's Day and we had mom over. My favorite cousin calls me the next morning. Her sis in law (who is formally amish, but now fancy) stopped in. She had a new purse that had black and white cow hide on it, had tons of jewelry, makeup on, and had her nails done and painted. My favorite cousin said she missed me so much, and was so tired of looking at fancy. I guess it was a compliment? Ha Ha for me.
Back to the subject. I have no clue what that thing is Lady L.

The lid is interesting. This could have been for distilling water. The pointed lid would allow water to fall back down.

The slicer isn't staying. I will attach the photo. It essentially works like a cheese grater but slower and less efficiently. It would either break the carrot or pull off a chunk of it. Carrot tasted the same but guess I found it pointless. It will go in the donation box but was worth 25c. to figure it out. Thank you Pearl.
I don't like having multiple tools to do the same job and have actually worked pretty hard at decluttering the kitchen then keeping it from reentering 😖

That sounds a little steep in price.
I'm actually looking for an antique soap wire basket with a handle that is used in the kitchen for putting in a bar soap for washing dishes. You run the water over it instead of using liquid dish soap. We go through alot of liquid dish soap. The grandkids over use it.

That is kind of the nature of children, to use too much soap.

I see obo which tells me it isn't selling for that. That's just what they are asking. It's all washed and in the box. I thought about putting the first clip you posted with it so folks would know what it was, but thought "why ruin the fun." :devil:

I have 2 of those. Handy! Both were estate sale finds. They have them on amazon but a quick search & it's cheaper on etsy.

dont believe anything i say..i am a dumb redneck and get bashed for grammar and more...but...that word is cheese pot or cheese pan in german i think.

i believe since it has slats on bottom its for fresh cheese where you want to pour of any water that leaks from it like a fresh farmers cheese you would make.

sonya might be along..i think she speaks german

cheese is kase and toph is pot or pan
