Well spring is officially over.
Wife has the AC on and I have my electric blanket on:rolleyes:.
Outside, 45 when you wake up, 85 by midday.
Try to dress for that!

This part of Oklahoma has been in the highest category of drought for 3.5 years. Here at my farm, I received just under 3" of rain from Sep 1, 2017 to June 22, 2018.

With little warning, it started to rain last Saturday morning. It rained again and again all weekend long - ending about 3:30 AM on Monday. The weekend's rainfall total I got was over 5".
:lil guy::woo hoo::lil guy: :great: :lil guy:

Temp tomorrow is for 102.

The Sooner State is burning up! We got up to 113 in some places! My car said 114 at 4:30 this afternoon! I’m struggling to keep up with watering my decorative yard plants a fruit trees alive. We have 3 or 4 more days before it starts coming down.
How about y’all ?

BP, this seems like mid to late August in our area. One spark and we have a runaway grass fire! I’m watering something almost every day. Hopefully, the powers that be won’t impose a watering ban.
Our humidity is 26% just enough to feel miserable.

Nope! we are not having any weather here in SE Washington today. Skies are clear, high temp expected to reach 83F, light winds with a repeat of the same tomorrow.
The two counties, one in Washington and the other in Oregon, are under fire watches so the range is closed. I may have to result to fishing to enjoy myself.

We have had more cloudy days here in ' sunny ' Florida than I can ever remember. Hope some heads west SheepD.

A friend of mine was hit while she was on the telephone. Her hearing aid saved her life. Make sure that your land lines have surge protectors on them. It could save your life or the life of someone you love.

I have also been hit by lightning inside a house after the bolt bounced off a pool and into the kitchen I was standing in and wouldn't recommend it as a fun experience at all as my hair was frazzled and I spoke backwards for a good 5 minutes.

Today in the mountain cottage it was 0 0c in the morning and 17 0c during the day and tomorrow is going to be -4 oc with a maximum of 19 oc during the day yep I think it will be a bit chilly tomorrow but we have the fire going. At this rate we are going to have to cut more firewood before the end of winter to get us through as we have had the fire going so much compared to last winter.

68% humidity and I'm dyin..... My allergies have had me up since about 3am and all I have to look forward to is a day at the in-laws. I'm tired and don't want the "obligatory" speech on how we should get rid of the animals and move to the city like normal people. I'm tired, stressed and just don't want to hear it.
