Although not a big ran of JT just about everyone had at least one of their albums. I liked a couple of their songs too. But you have to figure I was having kids when JT was popular. Mother Goose was oen I liked not sure I understood exactly what it was saying but it played alot.:)

It was also the time of drugging the parent's to handle the drugged up kids. o_O:dunno::eyeballs:

 
The first non teen type album I bought along with Herb Albert T. Brass instrumental when I was 18. Always loved this mans voice and this song.

Its still a wonderful world we just have to look a little bit harder to see it. Music helps.

Nice arrangement. I also love Prog Rock - ELP, ELO, Jethro Tull, Boston, Kansas, etc. etc.

Paradigm Studio Monitors, up & running fine since 1994. They are the heart of the speaker system, with 4 additional Cerwin-Vega speakers, 2 Paradigm Surround Sound speakers, & a Cerwin-Vega Bass Amp & Subwoofer Speaker unit. 3 main power amps run the whole system for a total wattage output of about 1300 watts available, but I hardly ever run it much past half power settings. Paradigm still makes the Studio Monitor line, & they list for about $1900 a pair. The pair I bought in 1993 are rated at 500 watts each, and I paid $2000 for a pair new. So, they are still a pretty good deal. Decent speakers anyway,

Cerwin-Vega...Boss! Do you know about SoloDallas, an Italian who has master AC/DC riffs and developed the Schaffer Replica Tower Pedal - as used by Angus Young, Keith Urban, FooFighters, Green Day, Joe Bonamassa, Arrowsmith, Blackberry Smoke, JD Simo and many others. Plus Fil Oliveri (the guitarist) is one hellava player. Check out demo by Pete Thorn (he played all the tracks). Look up SoloDallas videos. Fil rocks.

That is so bizarre you mentioned that!
I actually worked with a rock-band in the early 80's when I was in Baton Rouge Lafayette. We even had T-shirts back then:eek::

I did a lot of work with the lighting and the bass-guy's guitar (second from left). You'd be surprised what one miniature switch, a cap, and a resistor can do to make an 'impossible to duplicate' cool sound.
Back on topic.
Their headliner cover song was this:

Nothing like seeing a bunch of happy drunk people watch the inside of the bar explode into rotating red and blue lights cop lights!

I wish! He was the lead guitar player with gobs of drunk girls constantly crawling his bone.
I worked behind the scenes hooking up a thousand wires for a 4 hour performance and unhooking all of them at 2:AM.
... but hey, Free Beer!:green man:
And I did give the boring-ass bass guitar a totally new sound for the solo.:bigeyes:
There were a few guys that came up wanting to know what was hidden behind that plate with the tiny switch:D.
The bass-player didn't know electronics and I never told.
