I just heard from Phideaux. He said to say hi to everyone and that he'd be around to play when things slowed down. He reports that all are doing well, at least as well as age allows.

That's one of the good things to come out of the forest fire we had here in 2013, it mostly burned the under brush in the forests above us which will reduce the probability of fires in the area for a number of years to come.

First off I do hope all is well with both of you and you come out fine on the knee surgery and Gump is ok too.
But don't put this on me and play Mr Victim here.

You did ignore all of us for quite awhile and you did come online and like post while ignoring your friends pleas for information on a friend here we were all worried about.

Be sure to do your exercises with the knee surgery.
Speaking from experience had my first one done this last July.
Be sure to walk too.
Make you walk up some gentle hills works different muscles.
Walking in squat position zig zag pattern also works different muscle groups.
Best wishes on the knee replacement.
Tentatively doing my second knee in Feb.
