I'm proud to be this little ladies grandson, she is 102 years old.

I learned a lot of what I know from her and her parents, my great grandparents, who I was lucky enough to have till I was a teenager.

My great great grandparents were some of the first settlers in this area in the 1870s and I played on their farm as a kid. The farm stayed in the family until 1985.

I had a great-aunt make it to 104. It was an honour to know her.

Carbou, you're a time traveler?

Got a request, could you zip back to about 1864 and see if "her" grandmother was really captured by Comanches like the stories tell. lol

I haven't been around you guys for a long time, hope "y'all" still like to sit around and"shoot the bull" every now and then.

Sweet.
My SIL granny lived to be 105. Her and her daughter were in the same room together at nursing home. She took care of her daughter at home and then they both went to home together.

Sorry, I only travel forward in time.:ghostly:

My husband's grandma and great grandma lived to 101 and 103. Maybe those genetics got passed on to our kids.
Nice photo, @Davarm . I hope you take a few more!

I take pictures every time i visit and cherish every minute I get with her.

I get the feeling there's still a lot she has to teach me and I love every minute of every lesson.
