102 Years Old

I'm proud to be this little ladies grandson, she is 102 years old.

I learned a lot of what I know from her and her parents, my great grandparents, who I was lucky enough to have till I was a teenager.

My great great grandparents were some of the first settlers in this area in the 1870s and I played on their farm as a kid. The farm stayed in the family until 1985.

My grandma's cousin died last year at 105. I visited with her the year before and she was a sweetie. But she thought I was my mother the whole time. Her name was Edna Bontrager. She was a sweetie, too.

My SIL granny lived to be 105. Her and her daughter were in the same room together at nursing home. She took care of her daughter at home and then they both went to home together.

I take pictures every time i visit and cherish every minute I get with her.

I get the feeling there's still a lot she has to teach me and I love every minute of every lesson.
