I would think that someone who knew the value of an ounce of gold would mention it outright. I know I would say something like...if that really is gold you know it is worth a lot more than $20. Who knows how many people did that and ended up on the cutting room floor. I really enjoy Mark Dice videos. Most of them show how stupid so many people really are. Especially the ones that have to do with a person's rights or American history. The 4th of july video is amazing. Considering that it is California I guess it really isnt surprising that people there don't know why we celebrate the 4th of July.

Price point is a funny thing. I have priced items for sale too low and watched them sit there week after week and not sell. I pull them off the market for a month them put them back on the market at twice the price it was and they sell right away.

I wouldnt buy it. In front of a coin shop? Id ask myself, if it was real why cant he sell it in the coin shop? Why would he sell me something worth 1200 for 20? I'd assume either stolen or fake. Neither of which I want anything to do with. Now anyone on here want to sell me 1 oz gold coins for $20 I'm buying :). Shoot, I'll even give you double.

I agree.

Put something of value out by the curb with a "Free" sign on it and it will lay there for eternity. Replace the "Free" sign with "For Sale" and it will be stolen within a week.

Before we lost the peach tree..... We had a year where there were so many peaches that branches were breaking. We took a bunch to the farmers market and priced them at 5 for $1. We gave away a few for tasting and sold 5. The guy next to us told us to sell them for $.50 each and we sold most of them. Just don't understand it. I gave away tons of them to friends.
