They along with 5 other bands of that music era were at Atlanta Stadium " Georgia Jam " in mid 70s.
it was a great day and I had a ball. Lead band's Greg Allman ODed on stage and Allman Brothers were done, but the other's more than made up for it.

I hadn't either Keet. It is a good old tune though. It's funny when browsing thru You tube listening to something, that another song you hadn't thought of in years just shows up. I tend to loose track sometimes. LOL

BacP do you also read the comments, it can be fun too.

I was watching GM Assembly at Lakewood in 1973 and saw in comments some of the people I worked with. Now its all robots.:(

I do read thru them sometimes. Some are funny, cruel, drunk or drug infused. Some make me think I was at a particular comment and wrote it myself.

Yea some are not good but most are just people remembering the good times and smiling.

This is one that imo this guy did it better than Elvis. Maybe because Stafford did it first .

Backpacker, what media player(s) are you using? I would highly recommend VLC (https://www.videolan.org/vlc/) and the old classic WinAmp (https://www.winamp.com). Both are free and have a full set of controls including equalizer and spatial surround sound adjustments.

Full 39 minute version of "Get Ready" by Rare Earth: https://archive.org/details/RareEarthGetReadyLongVersion1970

And the 19 minute version of "Whipping Post, the 35 minute Mountain Jam, 17 minute Elizabeth Reed, and the 14 minute You Don't Love Me," all by the Allman Brothers: https://archive.org/details/AllmanBrothersBand-mountainJamAndMore

Also the 1960's Deep Purple albums, including their appearance with a full orchestra, which gets kinda wild at times!! VERY good!! https://archive.org/details/DeepPurpleComplete1960salbums

ENJOY!!! (BTW: All are downloadable for free.)

Currently none. Just straight from You tube, radio, cd's, Sometimes Pandora or I heart radio. Still have a MP3 I use when mowing at times.
I used to use WinAmp years ago on my old desktop that I haven't used in a long time. I did like it and had grabbed quite a few tunes at the time. Just got away from it due to other things taking more and more time.
I will give some of this a try first chance I get. All three music links are music I throughly enjoy. Thanks for the links

VJ, do you know if they are set up for Chromebooks, either WinAmp or VLC? I've searched but so far no good. I will keep looking. I have found both for my phone, which I listen to at work sometimes.

They will work on a Chromebook. Also Linux distros and several other operating systems as well. VLC is probably the best free media player there is, but WinAmp just released a new version that's pretty darn good, too!!
