I don't care much for Amazon. They told me I had to charge at least $2.99 for the two short stories I published together ($2.06 to me) or put it on Kindle unlimited where I would get about 5 cents every time it sells. I wanted to go $1.99, but that was not an option. I would not pay $2.99 for short stories myself.

Box all of your short stories into one offering?

I'm like you, a short story for $2.99? I would not buy one for $2.99 and would feel guilty trying to sell one for that price.

All I write is short stories. Then I realized my stories (TEOTWAWKI) were related, either by time frames or subject matter. I put 13 of them into one "book", proofed read them and tweaked until I was cross-eyed. Now having a 3rd party edit. Might but the finish work on Kindle...

My first one packaged two short stories together. The next one will have three, but I lowered the price to $1.49 which also cuts my part from 70% to 35%.
