It never helps to have a family member who works for a major alcohol beverages company.

I know I try to spell the word a couple times then let it go. I even sometimes go to search and it corrects it,lol. I tried spell check and it caused me all kinds of problems.

Maybe I should go to Texas and he should go to Tech Fest. Ha.
Back story on Tech Fest: Husband and I have be the registration people for it since it first started. This year he bowed out, he has a hard time getting around. I also have been the one to provide the morning treats...banana bread, cookies, brownies for everyone. And I do the raffle tickets and drawings. So when the speakers are speaking, I'm am usually sitting around working on embroidery. This is a 7am to 5pm event. I have no interest in going this year if we aren't doing registration.

You think that is funny, imagine your great grandfather using a Ipad to call someone.
LOL, you don't have to go back nearly that far. I couldn't make a call on an iPad, not with only four minutes to accomplish the deed.

Y'all might enjoy this... My daughters puppy is to smart for her own good. A friend of ours has a "puppy playpen" and let us use it. We connected it to her kennel in the living room so while we are fussing around the house she isn't locked up but isn't under foot either. In theory.....

I guess y'all get a screen shot, the video won't load.

Labrador? I had one like that. Could not keep that dog in a pen for anything. I built a 6 ft tall pen out of chain link she would literally climb out. So I added a chain link roof. Walked outside and caught her climbing out and squeezing between a small spot between the chain link roof and chain link walls. I gave up on fear that she would rip her tummy open or something trying to escape.

Yep. Chocolate lab. She has already doubled her weight in the 2 weeks since we got her.

I have had three black labs. They are clever little buggers when pups and get more devious as they grow. Too smart for their own good it is. They get to know how to use those big, sad, old root beer eyes.

But yes. When pups they are trouble looking for a place to happen. And your idea of fun is not necessarily their idea of fun. LOL!!!

Once they mature, two to four years old, they are the best companions ever. They are nasty, disgusting little creatures and many of us would not have it any other way. They attack life with such enthusiasm and pure joy. I find great pleasure in just watching a lab be a lab.

I look forward to getting to know my next little black gal and help her enjoy her forever home with me.
