I found some clearnace ammo at WM yesterday. I think it was 5.45 ammo (or something like that) in the can on clearance that was about 50% off the regular price. I'm not familiar with that kind of ammo, so I didn't really look very closely at it. However, I noticed our WM is now stocking more bulk options that they didn't offer before that can save some money on regular ammo purchases. So, if you find yourself at WM, take a walk through the ammo isle......

Ham 88 cents a lb (bone in)

This year ham isn't that marked down for some reason. Last year we had the same low price on hams. One store even had it at .77 lb,but not this year. Strange.

What is on sale right now are eggs. Large eggs are .77 dozen at our walmart. I just bought another 3 dozen
Last 2 years they never went on sale like this. Even now at Easter time.

I'm hoping that they'll still be discounted hams this week. Would like some for the freezer. China's pigs have swine flu, so they are being killed. I'm sure we are sending them pork, and that won't do much for our pork prices.
With egg prices cheap this week, I didn't think we'd sell many eggs. We sold out yesterday with our road sign out, just in a few hours.

Bought 60 lbs of chicken. It actually was $3.70 lb -10%. Under twenty bucks.
Went to Tractor Supply for feed and went by the chicks area. Lady asked if I wanted some. She gave me 20 unidentifiable white ones for $10.00. I had a 10% off everything coupon, so 20 were $9. and my feed was cheap, cheap, cheap. They may be meat chickens. Someone brought out all of their chicks and didn't tag them, so they don't know what's what. Came home, and two in the incubator just hatched. Babies in the house at the moment: 15 turkeys, 20 UFOs, 15 mixed breeds and some just hatching. Hmm. It's been a chicken kind of day.

Here's a good deal. A Bushmaster AR-15 with a red dot for $429. Not a huge fan of the non-railed gas block they used though, so no back up iron sights on this gun.

Shouldn't there be a bright red notice in a prior post so you don't frighten people with that big bad black mass killing gun? ;)

You could change out the hand guard to one with a rail on top an run buis.

Or you can just change out the gas block.

I personally am not a fan of having sites on gas blocks. They get really hot. Hot enough where you can melt the magpul buis.

I know some guns are designed with the gas block and iron site as one.

That Simmons scope has a history of not tracking adjustments. I have personally seen two of them that could not be sighted in because the zero would not hold.
A few others at the range said they had seen similar problems. I can only hope it has been corrected.
