Hello and welcome aboard! Looking forward to getting to know more about you.

If you don't mind sharing, with which Federal department did you serve? I was a Fed once but settled in with the state.

Welcome from S. W. Oregon, I grew up in Washington state, moved to Colorado in the mid 70's where I met my wife to be. My half sister and her husband live in a small town in the N. E. corner of Wyoming, truly fitting of "Home, home on the range, where the deer and the antelope lay.", in the town of Upton, winters get pretty tough up there and where we lived at 8,100 ft. elevation in Colorado, out here in Oregon is paradise and our winters are generally mild. When we saw the snow gates and signs on the freeway ramps in many of the towns in Wyoming, we felt very happy to be living where we are now, dealing with snow other than while hunting has gotten too much for us.

Hello and welcome! Congrats on your upcoming freedom (retirement). Lots of well-rooted folks here, so this is a great place to dig into yer roots!
