I had a box of candy canes but they disappeared when hubby went back to the desert house (for his last 3 days of work!). Its a safe bet all the evidence has gone up the chimney by now.

My driveway is 1/4 mile long, and almost every day he comes to my back door.
Young guy with a young family, 3 little kids, we always talk a minute.
Today I ask my wife if we could give him a Christmas card with $25 in it for Christmas, she said she didn't know if it would be proper.

This reminded me of something my mom told me. When they were little, she said she and her brother would pick their biggest stocking (sock) to hang and no matter, they each got a nickel, an orange and a candy. She was laughing - but we always had to hang our biggest one just in case
Ugh! I hate wrapping presents! This is clearly not something God ever intended for men to do. And unfortunately all my little ladies except the sick one are out of the house. I managed to get it wrapped but it looks a whole lot more like a field dressing than a surgical procedure.
