Good night Meerkat, pleasant dreams.

@Meerkat Certainly prayers to you, but the positive side is with a proper diagnosis, you can stay ahead of it and in control of it rather than working from behind. You are a strong gal - stronger than you realize. :huggs:

@Spikedriver The first thing that popped into my mind when you mentioned the various stages of butt freezing was get those foot warmers and put one in each of your back pockets :D Do be careful in that kind of cold though. It can sure be dangerous.

Drs appt. for the wife, then on to the Board of Commissioners meeting to submit our 2A resolution along with fellow Patriots in the county.

To my friend @Meerkat ...

All I can do is say a prayer for you , and keep on being you..it's a bump in the road of life.

:huggs::heart:

Jim

Best anyone can do Jim,most appreciated too.:huggs:.

I'm very sorry to read about your problem Meerkat. I was doubtful about the instant cataract diagnosis. High BP can cause all sorts of long-lasting problems so I hope you get it under control.
Prayers sent your way.
BachL, Me too I never beleived it either. I'll have to get a highter laptop table or learn how to emphecize that doesn't mean having eyeys so close to keyboard that hurts my neck leaning over so much. Other wise I do ok adjusting and feeling around at night, no black eyes since first one.. That was arreal big shiner.:eyeballs:. Hd to kick the dogs a few times so they don't trip me up when they are out of my ' zoom'.

I know you don't like that blood pressure med, Meer.[ didn'y hurt them judy got their sttention]

Prayers for you.
I'm taking it now but lower does since BP fell 100 points on top number, which I understand not good for sudden drop:huh::eyeballs:.

Found out I got a job for tomorrow. Neighbors left this morning for a doctor appointment 200 miles away and asked if I would do chores at their place tomorrow morning. Naturally I said yes.
Rained here this morning and we got 1/8 inch so far. Ground is muddy from the rain and the melted snow.

If you go to setting then Windows Ease of Access you can turn on magnifier and make things easier to see. There is also a narrator function as well as an on-screen keyboard that might help.
Another option is to hold the ctrl key and hit the + key to make the page bigger.

Snap, what have you been drinking? There's too much snow to rake and weedeat

LOL Southwestern MS, but I was wearing a jacket and scarf. Got up to 48 but I was going stir crazy!

So far this morning, I've made a big slow cooker of veggie soup and made hummus. Getting ready to cook collards that I just picked and then cook some turnips. I was going to can the pineapple today, but will wait til Thursday for that.

I think my coffee had extra caffeine today!

Just as I went out to pick collards, I heard someone banging on next door neighbor's window. Wa a fellow begging for food (or money), either would be good. He even wanted my collards. Told him I was canning them for us. Wouldn't leave so I got DH to make him leave.

No more salt in diet .
LASIK pills everyday now.

Gotta get the fluid off my heart or else..

I have been warned officially.

Long ride.

Jim
You take care. Send all the salt shakers down here. We were told the kid needs MORE salt. A min of 10 grams per day.

Lasik is hard on the kidneys

As of right now my DW and I are watching a herd of elk that are above our home eating the tender grass that's been growing, what a blessing to see such healthy large animals, it's only been since the forest fire of 2013 that we have ever had elk so close, my wife was singing "Home, home on the range." for a few lines. I tried to get some pics but it's getting dark and the camera flash was spooking the elk. I'll work on the pics to see if I can get them cleared up enough to download here.

Pressure and pulling from staples have eased a bit.
Go back in 30 days to see surgeon for followup.
Then 60 days, 90 days, then 6 months then a year followup.
Son brought can of coffee, so I wouldn't have to get out tomorrow during bad icy rain, snow.
School is closed again in my area due to weather.
Going to eat some leftovers, kick back relax.
Start regular Physical Therapy Thursday.
I can drive again.
Only in town so far.
