Yesterday was easy. Church, cleaned out microwave, made burritos, and puttered around--made some calls.

Today, took my walk, started laundry, DH wants oranges so guess I'm going to local grocery. Staying home as much as I can.

Warm today to Wed., then highs in the lower 50's for a couple of days and then back up to 60's and 70's--MS version of early Spring!

Got my morning chores all done.

Can I just say how wonderful it is to have 2 pain free knees to walk around on.
I'm blessed.
Another gloomy day here , cloudy, raining ..we haven't had 2 hours of sunshine in the last 2 weeks.

Guess I'll just run some errands , pick up some necessities.
Grab lunch at Sirloin Stockade.
Drop off center armrest of Corvette for new leather.

Come home .
Rest.

Watch the Trump Show tonight from NH.

Hope y'all all have a great day.

Haven't been to Sirloin Stockade in years. Used to go to one in Salina, Kansas when I lived down there, and load up on fish on Friday nights. That was good stuff...

Been untangling yarn out of grand daughter's yarn basket.
Spent about 3 hours on that little job Sunday.
So the yarn I'm making baby hats out of is coming from her basket.
Been to PT this morning.
Got home took Strawberry outside several times, both in the morning and at noonish.
Kitchen has gotten pretty good scrubbing, it needed it.
Got load of laundry now in the dryer.
Got to fold up and put away one load of laundry yet.
Fixed supper,
Will deep clean the bathroom this evening for the week.
Strawberry is whiny for some reason.
Could be she figured out I moved her bone and hid it from her this morning.
Thinking about a nap for this afternoon.
Sitting here yawning.

Whew, I'm putting 2 survival kits together, that will all fit into 2 APB03 assault packs. Trying to find everything at a decent price. So far Amazon has most of what I need/want that is reasonable in cost.

Got everyone off on their busses with a two hr delay, went to Lowes for more tile and misc, then to the post office. Our giant bathtub is being redone, lots of banging and hauling out dirt the animals drug in to the underside. Got our money, jewelry, etc moved after yesterdays incident with granddaughters money. Also had an error read on one of our alarm systems yesterday. We have 3 unique systems. So, watching workers intently. Husband went off to appts, so I' m the in home babysitter today. Son will be inside in a little while so I can take care of the chickens.

@MoBookworm1957 Sounds like you're getting around a little better. Isn't untangling fun - drives me crazy. gaah
@Amish Heart Hope you have an outhouse during all this.
Out of grand daughter's yarn basket have crocheted 7 baby hats and started on matching receiving blanket to match one of the hats.
Untangling is so much fun "NOT". Hence the yarn coming out of her yarn basket not mine as of yet.

Been to PT this morning.
Finally bending knee to 102- 104 degrees.
Still need to get it to 120 degrees, but improving I think.
Finally gotten it loosen up quite a bit.
Found out I'm allergic to the pain pills they gave me.
Break me out in hives.
So just muscling through as much as possible.
Only got 1 more PT visit this week and 3 next week until I see surgeon again.
Up in air about the last 3 visits after that.
Lost another 3 pounds this week.
Iron count hasn't came back up yet, but neither is it dropping either.
No date night tonight, can't afford it or still not able to drive.

My wife's sister is having heart surgery so she has been over the mountains since Friday. They postponed the surgery until today so she has just been enjoying the time away from home.
I did all the cleaning today. Cooked breakfast, washed the dishes, swept, mopped, did the laundry, made the beds and cleaned the bathrooms.
I am beat so I think dinner will be out somewhere.

Wife had dentist appointment today.
I stayed home, cleaned ashes out of stove.
Do that about every 3 to 4 weeks.
Called and got the hospital squared away on some billing to wrong place.

40 deg in garage, and I just had to tinker till wife came home.. froze my donkey off.

We went to Majestic House for lunch ..darn good .
Stopped by WM to grab a f ew things.
Got new battery for my watch....now can't get the bezel/back to snap back on.
Uuuggghhh.

Resting now.

Dad has really gone down hill the past week… Today they inserted a feeding tube directly into his stomach… :( He just wasn’t eating, they had to do something…

A quiet day for me, kept an eye on the sump pump all day, no issue so far. Lite showers continue off and on. I’m unsure if I’m going down to stay with dad all night. Mom said he sleeping like a rock from the sedation of the procedure. Maybe I’ll go down… Have to be there before 9pm when the front door is locked. After that I have to go through the ER and get a pass. I don’t want to drag a cot and blanket through the metal detector. All the security people know me at this point, just a pain if I don’t get there before 9.

At 6:30pm I’ll know if there is a sitter… I’ll decide then.

We (family) decided I'm home for the duration of this rain event, should be over Thursday afternoon. The last thing we need right now is another flood downstairs. If I'm here I can prevent it. Others are going to take my shifts at the hospital. Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers! The medical people are doing all they can, some things are out of our hands no matter how much we may wish otherwise.

Lots of challenges in your life lately. Good that someone else can give you a break. Prayers for you and your family.

We are breaking all rainfall records .

Sit and watch it .

I haven't seen one second of it, but did hear that Sanders got the majority. There is no strong candidate there, time will work this out and when it is all over, no one will be a winner from that camp. I did hear that Bennett pulled out. He lives in my area and I have seen him at my ACE hardware store.

Our farm is only about an hr from Salina. There was a popular place we went there with my cousins for a chicken dinner served family style
Are you thinking of the Brookville Inn, just a few miles West of Salina? Fried chicken and mashed potatoes was the only thing on the menu, and people would come from all over the world to eat there. I guess it got moved into Abilene now. I worked in Salina for a week a couple years ago, but that's the only time I've been in the town since I was a punk kid in 1994. The town changed so much I didn't recognize anything...

Made it to Pueblo in a snowstorm last night. We had planned to arrive just before 10 but the weather slowed us down. We got in at midnight and went at work at 5:45 AM. I'm getting too old to drive 14 hours and then go to work on 5 hours sleep... At least the forecast looks good for a few days. I can get used to the weather here. Lots of sun and 40° temps isn't too bad compared to home...

Yep! I'm thinking of the Brookville. Had a lot of wallpaper in there. I heard it moved. Good chicken dinner. Need to get ready for the houseful of workers today. Plumber stayed till almost 7 last night. The other three will be here in a couple of hours. Two bathrooms torn up completely, and the master bath tub was taken out yesterday, found where the animals were coming in, concreted that, plumber did those repairs, and now it's ready to finish off and tile around it. The only thing not demolished yet is our separate shower. With 4 lining up to use it last night after dinner, I'm getting one this morning before the workers come. Plumber needed to be in the boiler room, so saw a lot of food preps stored. Turns out he wants to sell his house, move up to the mtns. Tired of the crime and worried about pandemics. I really don't like people in our house. No wonder it's taken us so long to remodel. Hoping the kitchen will not be demoed today.
