right here right now maybe later over there
I came across a smok'n deal on some 3/16'' thick leather
So I am offering a deal to you.
3/16 x 1 1/2'' wide or 1 1/4''/ or 1'' belts up to 52'' long for $30.00
If you need a longer belt. I can make it longer by adding a section for $10.00 more
price includes a buckle, and shipping
I usually sell belts for around $50.00, But the deal i got on this piece of leather was darn near free

Measure your currant belt from center buckle to the hole you use.
OR
measure your waist OVER your pants.
Do not try and calculate anything. I will do that and give you 3'' adjustment each side of your size

I think Havasu will vouch for me. not taking your $30.00 and running off to mexico with it
If it were $30,000.00 You might wanna be worried LOL Just kidding
I prefer paypal if interested PM for account info and leave your address

Here...I polished the belt so you could see the end result.

My whole life, this hole is too tight, the next one is too loose.
Why can't they have twice as many holes? Always one inch.

I am a firm believer that we try to support our friends in this forum. If I had any doubt about the seller, I would make sure the general membership would never see the post. I've known this turkey for many years, and I have no doubt that it will be a great product. I'm just surprised he hasn't started selling his rifle slings. They are out of this world!

I have 6 different leather projects going on right now, and those slings are very time consuming

This is what I am working on right now

Those bags look hand sewn. Kudos from a fellow leather hand stitcher...

Yes sir, They are hand sewn with a saddle stitch. The thread used is a 9 ply waxed string that is used to tie cables.
I like the way it POPS out at you.
What have you made? i like to look at leather porn

Have a gander here:

Posted a lot of my old projects there.
Health issues have derailed my hobby for now, but I anticipate getting back to it in the next 6 months or so...

I have a lot of leather that I need to do something with...

Health is the reason I am doing leather. I used to do metal art. run a forge, make copper stuff
i can not be around the fumes any more. SO..found something that is not bad form the lungs

I hand stitch my leather work too but I made a couple of spade punches that keep the distance between stitches fairly constant.

and a few other tools to engrave a bit.

I tried to scan the holster I made but the limits of the scanning are readily apparent. You can see some of the stitching.
6"Pancake Holster.jpg

The holster is around 40 years old and the color is natural but oiled from years of use.
I was told you can't make a pancake holster for a 6 inch barrel - well there it is.

Here is a John Wayne Replica I finished yesterday.

I need 3 rivets to be finished, And please excuse the messy shop floor. When I work leather goes overwhere, and what i do not scatter
the cat drags around

3'' wide, double 8oz on the belt with a 2'' strip for cartridges
the hammer thong is threaded inbetween the 2 layers of leather and exits behind the holster

You do nice work! I think I would have made the loop for the belt flap a slide fit and not have riveted it but that is just a matter of choice. I also like the holster to cover the trigger - less chance of shooting yourself in the kneecap. :) I also leave the bottom open so dirt and moisture can get out. I still have my "quick draw" holster somewhere... It was a fad I got over.
I am going to attempt another shoulder rig - it has been a while and I need one for my auto. Muzzle down and front pull so I will need to make a spring for it. I think I have enough leather but if not I now where I can get what I want.
That's just what I need, ANOTHER project.:)
