tabasco sauce, franks red hot, texas pete, louisiana hot sauce, the crystal hot sauce and about 101 other homemade versions of hot sauce over the years...elk loves it all. i like the taste of jalapenos and texas pete makes a jalapeno one but its so hard to find and the bottle so small when you do find it..its gone in just a couple days. i get jalapenos by half gallon to be honest and eat like candy. i dont like super smoking hot stuff. i dont care for the habanero sauces but i do like habanero cheeses.

Ha. Tabasco is wonderful, but all y'all have not really lived until you have tasted THIS:

It's a fairly new creation that is sure to please everyone on earth. Not too hot, but not wimpy, and BIG on flavor.

Please, Zatarain! Bottle this in gallon-sized jugs!

Although it is available in many places now, I snagged the picture for attention from this site which is a fine introduction to the world of Cajun and Creole foods from south Louisiana.

You want real cajun or creole food you need to get your hands on Gammy's handwritten recipe book that has her instructions for gator sausage gumbo!

I lucked out and found a recipe notebook years back with some truly great swamp people type recipes! Rattler chili is the best!

As a seventh-generation New Orleanian and old swamp-girl, I am sure I would love to trade recipes with 'Gammy'!

One day my wife said you didn't shave today, I said I may grow a beard, she said NO way, so naturally, I had to grow a beard. It looked OK but there was a lot of grey so after a few weeks I shaved it off.

Told my wife I was going to grow a mustache. She expressed her extreme displeasure. I kept it trimmed and above my upper lip. Keeping in mind that she hadn't approved the growing of the mustache a year later I shaved it off. Did I ever catch her wrath! "WHY DID I EVER THINK SHAVING IT OFF WAS A GOOD IDEA?!?!?!?! IT LOOKED GOOD ON YOU!?!?!?!?!?

So i waited a few years and tried an experiment. I grew a goatee beard. Kept it trimmed short and neat. At first the wife gave me a dirty look, then she moved on. Few years later I did an oops while trimming it so I shaved it all off. As I suspected I would, I caught her wrath again for shaving it off.

Then I retired and winter was approaching and I thought, "Why not a full beard?" Both of us was glad when I shaved that thing off and reverted back to a goatee!

Beards are distinguish on everyone but me.
However I had a mustache for Thirty years & a beard for about ten years, so I would not have to shave.
I use an electric razor now & have neither beards or mustache.

My dad had a mustache as long as I could remember and for decades before that. I went out of town for Christmas to visit my grandmother after I graduated high school and when I came home I thought I was at the wrong house. My dad had shaved off the lip warmer. Now he shaves daily with the odd times he grows a beard to mess with our kids. He has always used an electric razor except when he tried a Fatboy razor after I got one for K. He still tries to steal shaving soap and razors from our bater box when he visits!

look at this hot sauce lovers !
