Yesh, purty cool. I find it really strange that kids today like the music I listened to when I was their age. There is so much more to choose from. The Doobie Brothers were one of my favorites but I don't think anybody else really likes them much. My first concert.
I've been known to turn Black Water up loud in the car...lol

Ok, I know I say my favorite a lot. Jean-Luc Ponty is another favorite. No vocalists, all instrumental. Electric violin.

Sure! have you ever used roller blades? I haven't. I ice skated once. Wouldn't mind trying that again. Did you skateboard? Not me. Alpine slide? LOVE it.
Dancing...my husband never liked dancing. I need to ask my friends for dance lessons, my style was always free style.

Roller skates for me. Loved Friday nights with girlfriends at the roller rink. Also an avid skateboarder and tree climber. Couldn't do either now to save my life. Our kids were skateboarders, too, and there were always a few homemade ramps in our driveway while they were growing up. Now there's skateparks. But the ones in Albuquerque are havens for drug deals. Not much of a dancer, and my husband isn't either, but remember head banging in High School. Ha. Our two youngest daughters are accomplished dancers. Ballroom, salsa, and they are part of a local Hawaiian dance group, and perform for places that hire them when they aren't working at their "real jobs". Desert Stars Polynesia. Look them up!

Have any of you ever heard of John Prine?

The country stars used to get in line to buy songs that he wrote.

The really funny thing is when rap artists use an old song or old tune to add to a new rap song the kids think it is new stuff and credit to new rap artist. Might be a pretty easy way to get rich quick. Take an old tune that you know is a hit song and catchy and lay some bad poetry over it with some bad words thrown in for good measure.

Recognize this Santana tune?

How about the Police...Roxeanne

Sorry, I guess to each his own. I find it border line crude or just dumb, but that's me.
That's seriously messed up, what about copyright laws? As long as Mr. Santana and Sting (the Police) are still getting a cut of it, maybe they don't care?
I was thinking about my tastes in music awhile ago. There are a few bands that I like (a few of their songs) and thought they were much younger. No, they're my age, or a few years younger. Goo Goo Dolls, R.E.M., U2 (who plays along with the globalists' game it would seem), alternate rock.
I think most of the people who were here who liked the older rock, are gone. :(
Music keeps me going. I listen to it a lot. So I don't like to waste my time on stuff I consider not my style or crap, as I'm sure that's what's going on here with a lot of what I post, not a style most enjoy. Like this one. I like the music.
