fighting a cold..
was hoping id escape whatever is making it's rounds about the mill but nope..guess too many nights sucking in negative temp below 0 air for hours and breaktime in small rooms with sick folks finally graced me with the bad cooties..
it's not too bad though..just putting a wrench in my hot spring plans last night..
walked the dog still and finally finished cleaning the goat pen. Spread some nice fresh straw in it so the critters can spread out once next weeks snow storms were expecting hit ..
now its time to catch up on news and maybe zone out to a good book or documentary by the fire..
I love my wood stovie

@Patchouli I think I found out my ankle was a still a bit weak so have an ankle support on for a while.

Round 1 of today is we went to church this morning and stayed for all the sessions. A lovely friend gave us 3 dozen eggs as their chickens are laying to many for them to eat at the moment. Had 9 glorious hours of sleep last night and went to bed at 9 pm having not been able to keep my eyes open and slept like a baby.

Late last night I had Spanish peanuts, watermelon and a grilled cheese sandwich before going to bed around midnight.

I woke up early to heavy rains around 05:30. I most definitely wasn't hungry. Sometime around 9am I took a long nap. When I woke up it was still raining.

Sometime this afternoon, around 2pm it was still raining, I took another nap.

It's 11pm, getting colder, and still raining... think I'll play a John Wayne DvD... Nothing happening here... move along... Bored out of my mind!

Boredom seems to be a problem for lots of us,I know it is fro me. That and too much work. I like to work but also like to do fun things.

Woke up to a little snow. 2" max. Kinda surprising actually. It was suppose to stay to our north and east. We had well over 1" of rain yesterday and through the night. Guess it finally cooled down just enough. It's already melting though. It's hanging in our white pines and looks so good.
Going to church here in a bit for the Christmas musical. They do quite a production and it's usually pretty good.

Going to walk at Wal*Mart
Pick up a few things while I'm there
Swing by parents, check on them, pick up newspapers.
Have lunch somewhere
Come home and work on Entreloc crochet afghan or pillow for Christmas, Gram's Thread Project.
Might actually watch tv sometime today or not.
Friend called to asked if I would be interested in her Ashford Spinning wheel.
Will have to do lots of research on that, but don't think so.
Got a dab of dishes to do,need to cook something but what is the question.
It's fairly nice this morning, but rain and snow are coming I can feel it.
Reading forums from start to finish on some of them, I might of missed something.
Strawberry is restless, can't seem to settle anywhere for any length of time.

I did as little as possible yesterday, after the Friday Banana Bread Extravaganza! Went to Church this morning and doled out some of the miniature loaves. Tonight, the youth minister is being ordained, so going back again. It's only about 38 degrees and very humid here, so not going outside much. Low key days are nice!

Went to walk Wal*Mart.
Picked up a few items.
Got Estelle a few pair of training pants to individually wrap for her stocking.
What I paid for 3 pair of big girl panties, $8.97 also got package of Pamper Pull Ups for $8.47.
The Pampers Pull ups will be wrapped under the tree.
Picked up several little books to be wrapped individually to be placed under the tree.
Got her flash cards with words, alphabet, numbers, colors as little gifts .
Things we will work on, when I have her.
I didn't go over board on gifts for her.
I figure daddy will do that.
As well as Uncle Fred and Aunt Laura.
I find it easier on my budget if I pick up an item or two all year.
Everything goes in closet in a box with her name on it.
Now I might go over board if I make her something, but not usually.
Think I will go take a nap.
Strawberry finally settled in one place.
Trash has been taken out.
Kitchen table cleaned off again.
Decorated the door wreath finally.
Just decorated with things I had on hand.
Put Snowflake Napkin Rings on it this time with blue, silver balls on it.
Simple.
Cleaned hand prints of tv, screen door, tablet, laptop.
Dusted the living room furniture.
Ran the sweeper all over the house.
Kinda tired, so will go rest for awhile.
Maybe read a book.

We made a few batches of jerky again this weekend,

I did a bunch of laundry yesterday and today. I went airsoft shooting with my son and did art with my daughter. I spent way too much time cleaning up after our puppy. My wife's company is super busy this time of year and she wont br off work till Christmas so I'm pretty much on my own with the house. At least I'm not as busy at my job.

See you all on the other side of our move. The furniture removalist is coming tomorrow and we will take a few things to the farm, sleep overnight and then come back to the rental on Wednesday the 12th to clean up.

See you all in a few days time once we get our new internet up and running and some unpacking done.

Congratulations!

After so many years of struggle, sacrifice and deep down grit this will be the ultimate reward.
I can't think of anyone more deserving and you're a true inspiration to me.

Huge HUGS.
