I pretty well get by with the tools i have..but yet i need to add to my socket set.some opened/closed end wrench's. Vice grips n clamps.

I think if a person collects tools over time, we develop a nice collection of them. For me, the remodeling work on my house kept me busy building my tool collection. I don't do as much work on it now, and rarely by new tools.
Same here. It's been quite a few years since I've needed any tools. Last thing I bought was a new circular saw about 8 years ago.
