We picked these 4 little Khaki Campbell ducklings up at Rural King yesterday. Other than Peking ducks the only other ones they had were Rouen ducks. I wasn't sure which breed was which or anything about either breed but we wanted the entire brown ones,not the ones with stripes on their faces. I asked what breed they were and looked them both up when we got home. They sound pretty interesting and the ones we would have wanted anyway since they're the best layers. The only thing that might get tricky is these can fly,I don't want anymore flying waterfowl,the Canadian geese are enough :D,but they might be alright ;).

@squirrelhunter I wonder if you can clip their wing feathers on one side to stop them flying as you can with chickens, best to ask @Amish Heart on that one being someone who has knowledge of ducks. Also wondering if you can do that with geese too and whether their feathers grow back as chickens do ?.

I'm sure you can with both,the ducks and the geese,but I'm sure they'll grow back since both molt. I use to do that on my Cockatiels but when we got some house dogs I didn't trust I quit taking him out of the cage and quit clipping his wings. The problem with clipping the ducks and geese's wings is catching them and hold them down while I clip them,I can't do it by myself. I'll just see if the ducks fly first before I think about trying it. Other than the few days the Canadian geese were gone,their flying hasn't been a real bad problem. Once in awhile they'll fly over the fence but they normally just pace back and forth on the other side and I let them back in threw a gate.
