I don't know much about the AFib stuff, but it seems to me that the "moderation" that you practice makes good sense. For most people, it's not necessary to cut all carbs/sugars/fats, etc. Just cut back. Food is one of the basic pleasures of life, may as well enjoy it sometimes.I also read a study from China that linked higher instances of AFIB to keto eating. AFib is what put me in the hospital.
Meds have been changed and I not longer completely avoid carbs, just refined crap and low amounts of other carbs.
Now, if I could just follow my own advice...
