Fear of starving to death. What I do is for me. My stepdad died and my brother died shortly after. all I have is mom. she is not doing well. I have two nieces. They are worthless.

I have done a few things, but I use the guidelines most of the time. I prefer to sauté my vegetables before canning them. Like onions and garlic, peppers etc.

I have seen what people call hoarding, and it's not this. Hoarding is keeping things that you don't use for any purpose. Like pizza boxes or toilet paper rolls, newspapers. Just because they want to keep them.

7 quarts Chicken Cacciatore and 7 pints meat Chili. I'm the only one that eats the Chili. Next is pork n beans And Red beans to make with rice. No i don't can rice. After that will start on jams and jelly's.

Ok this is what Im going to do. Roast the red peppers tomatoes garlic onions. Put them in a pot and cook them down. When they are soft I use an immersion blender. Put some chicken stock in to thin and can.

Is there something wrong with canning this? I know it will have to be thin. But why no recipes for red pepper tomato soup?
