Last eclipse photo. I lessened the corona and enhanced the prominences.

Supposed to have clouds clearing in the afternoon to high thin clouds for the eclipse Monday. Took this practice shot to make sure everything is a go.

It would be a 25 hour drive plus pee breaks for me. Thanks anyway and enjoy.

I also have a GMRS license. Have everything programmed to monitor and transmit over all the unlicensed frequencies, just in case.

Depending on the size and location of impact, if it were to strike outside of the US I would probably lean toward survival. The experts could be wrong on how severe the outcome would be. There is local underground former limestone quarry but I’m sure the gubment would be keeping the riffraff...

If ‘duck and cover’ worked as well as they say.

You can’t enter Canada with bear spray? But, that’s where the bears are!!

While not my first choice, some cans of ‘bear spray’ are better than nothing. A detour around Canada might be your best option if not carrying is a deal breaker.
