    Any snakeolegests out there?

If you are worried about your dog being bitten by a rattlesnake, there is a shot they can get that helps prevent the bad effects from the bite. I gave the shot to my Brittany and she got bit. She had very little effects from the bite. But, it could have been a dry bite.

A little off topic, but, I knew some people with the last name of Lear. They named their daughter Shanda. (think chandelier)

Britanny's are fabulous dogs. I had one for 13 years and my second one for four years.. They need to run. It is not right to restrict them to a yard or lease.

    Happy Birthday!

I played golf for a while. One day after a stressful round I announced to my friends that I was selling all my golf clubs, etc. I bought a boat and found true peace.

    Happy Birthday!

I turned 75 on May 7th. "Thank You" for the happy birthday wishes from y'all. I bought my small farm in 1986, a pretty little spot, that sits on a ridge in a wooded terrain. So I deemed myself as the Ridge Runner. However, I don't do any running any more. My movement is mostly confined to...

    Egg in Microwave

This may be old news to some, but it is new to me. I love breakfast. This is very easy. I see using this technique with fried green tomatoes, Canadian bacon and English muffin. And to satisfy my spicy side, maybe some Jalapeno grits.

Info on surviving a nuke war.

In preparation for a nuclear attack on the United States, I am intensifying my stretching exercises. That should ensure when the attacks begin, I can bend over and kiss my ass goodbye.

How would you get illegal immigrants to go home?

First of all, any illegal alien guilty of killing an American citizen should be hanged. No jail time, no sending them back to where they came from. Send a message to all illegals that if they are responsible for the death of an American citizen they will die. No remorse.

    What's everybody doing today?

For the last four months my step son has left his 32' fifth wheel in our yard. I am tired of looking at it, but that is another story. Since it is such a beautiful morning with a lovely breeze, I decided to open the windows of the camper and air it out. When I went inside I found a lot of...

You Know You're Getting Old When...

I moved from Florida when I was 49. I left no forwarding address. When I turned 50 I got a letter from AARP. All I could think was how did they find me? I was ticked off that I was now officially considered old.

    Beer fridge is always empty!

I remember when Busch beer was 99 cents a six pack in Florida. In Viet Nam we bought Budweiser for 10 cents a can. That was on base. San Miguel beer was less than that. Every bottle tasted different, and usually had a bit of sand on the mouth of the bottle. The story was it had formaldehyde...
