First day of SPRING. High mid 50s, partly sunny. Wends-Sat more like spring. 60s-70s mostly sunny. Didnt make it camping at the river Monday, to cold and rainy. Will go tomorrow for 5 days.

Stated on the neighbors tree yesterday afternoon. Its a very large double trunk white oak. Got half of it chunked up and some split. Will resume today. 4 of us working and three chain saws and the splitter.

Tonight its Pan Fried Rainbow Trout. Have 2 good sized ones thawing out. After frying will debone them (easier after fried). Will make a sauce from the pan drippings with various herbs and mushrooms. Served with fried taters.

Took a look at the weather fore cast and decided to break out the RV Trailer from winter storage and head to the river Thursday morning. Trout season opens the 1st of March. Dont really care for em but will drown some bait and eat them If I get any. Mostly going to get outside and enjoy sitting...

Beef and Pea Pods. Thin sliced beef flash fried and then added the onions. With a sauce of Soy Sauce, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Pea Pods added at the end for about 3-4 minutes, crisp but not mushy. Served over brown and wild rice, Ice Tea.

Really odd that its freezing rain in Tx, Ok, and Kansas and not in Mo. Almost a 20 deg difference in temp. Low tonight fore cast to be about 40. Rain next 3 days on and off but temps will be above 32. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday will be sonny from mid 50s - mid 60s.
