West of Ft Worth, the radar is looking pretty Harry, severe thunderstorm warning, possible 70 mph winds, flash flooding and large hail possible.
If it hits us, guess it'll be start over for the garden....
Not really sure what it was but they are all healthy now. I'm leaning toward bronchitis, that seems to fit the symptoms.
I used amoxicillin and pinkeye drops for their eye symptoms.
If you want to make low sugar fruit spreads that are a bit more calorie friendly and require no pectin, I came up with a pretty easy way to do it.
You can prepare your fruit/sugar mix to your desired taste and add fine ground psyllium powder until it thickens up.
It will be a guess as to how...
Hey Uncle Joe, howya been, I see a lot of familiar names around here.
I had a big life change(got married) and went silent for a long time but I'm hoping I will have time now to be active again.

Good to see ya again.
I pull the plants, roots and all, wash em thoroughly and boil until the plants fall apart. Let the pot sit overnite then strain the solids out and boil the liquid down to a syrup.

I hand loaded 00's until I got tired of of filling em up then I just starting mixing it with water and slamming it down. lol
I started using Kratom about six months ago for chronic pain and it works great for me.
I wanted to(and did) stop using OTC NSAID because as stated above, they are hard on the stomach and are also hard on the liver.
I'm a fan of Kratom and keep it on the shelf.
I have read up on yarrow seen all the above info, have growing on my property and only have one question for the yarrow fan club...

Don't know how many have tried it but wild lettuce is good for insomnia.
It also works pretty well for anxiety, coughs and is a pain killer that works as well as many OTC NSAIDs.
We make quite a bit of jelly but I'm not very good at it yet.
In my book, jelly is more of an art than a science but unfortunately im not much of an artist...... lol
They're still a few orchards around but you have to know where they are to get any good ones.
When I was a kid, seemed like everyone grew them, now everyone goes to the grocery store and buys those rock hard things that have no flavor at all.
We have five trees now and I just dug the holes to...
I take pictures every time i visit and cherish every minute I get with her.
I get the feeling there's still a lot she has to teach me and I love every minute of every lesson.
I'm re-jaring some jelly tonight, going from quarts to half pints.
We give jelly boxes for Christmas each year, full quarts of peach jelly might send some people into diabetic shock. lol
