I got my first donkey from Sears and Roebuck catalog, mama bought 3, 2 jennys and a jack, Penny,Katy and Pete, I was 10 yr old.

MY GOODNESS jIM! Looks just like our 3 donks although one didn't live to grow up she would've looked like the one in the middle ,Katy as on the left and Pete was on the right. Was you there in a time travel,My donk Katy was the black one and Pete was the light colored one and poor little Penny was the other one.Kids snunk in and rode poor little Penny and broke her back while we were in town for a week.

They came in on a train at Atlanta Depot from Mexico aka Mexican Burro's. My Rosie was a solid no marks Sicilian Donkey from Sicily we bought her in Georgia.

I liked them too, but I thought they were Crows when I was little. The Magpies we have around here are about half white.

I named our two Muskovi ducks Heckle and Jeckle. First time I let them out of the pen they took flight.I told hubby there go your ducks,lol,they just flew around the propery then came right bak to us.

Cisco & Pancho. They were pretty popular in the neighborhood I grew up in. I had a lotta Mexican kids on my street. I'd call him Crisco just to wind them up.
