I would pay to watch the kids of today fall off that thing. Most of them wouldn't be able to hold on because they would only have 1 free hand. The other hand would have their phone so they could take a selfie.
I won't even go into them lacking the strength to hold on.
There would also be a line of lawyers standing by to sue.

Used to ride the train between Tuscaloosa and New Orleans for work. Great way to travel. Always had trouble spelling New Orleans because I pronounce the name as one word like the locals. The written name doesn't match the sound in my head.

My papaw worked for Southern railroad for years. They took train rides with the old locomotives sometimes. He loved them. Most everything he worked with was diesel, but he started with the old coal fired ones.

It was always hard for me to pass a Stuckey's.
Even a broke Navy boy could afford to eat there.
I loved their Pecan logs.
I haven't seen one since 1971.

And I blamed my mom for dressing me funny for high school... looks like she didn't have any choice. I hated the clothes back then.

I laughed hysterically when our teenage daughter wanted MC Hammer pants in the mid 90's.

I am really glad we were too poor to buy the latest fashion.
We wore jeans and T-shirts with Converse tenner shoes.
