I have never had a subscription to the magazine, but many of their articles are available for free online. This is the index of their magazines with clickable links to articles that you can view. They have articles about all kinds of things of interest for homesteaders and preppers.

There is an option to buy their magazines there as well.

I've never had a subscription, but have bought individual copies at times for many years. It's one of the best magazines out there for that type information.

yes but they quit printing the magazine. now you have to get online or kindle i thinh is what they said.

I found that web site a few years ago searching homemade Vienna sausages and canning pickled eggs i think. Lots of good information, but have to admit its been awhile since I've visited. Seems like they have a forum too?

I have never seen it at a newstand, or I might have had a collection of them. I have collected some Mother Earth News over the years.

I remember the hard copies but have been visiting off and on for years to read the articles by Massad Ayoob. I also stumble across other articles of interest.

I also love Jackie. I have a number of years of their mags, each year printed in a book. So much to read!

I have all the "anthologies", and was a subscriber until the end.

They carry the Foxfire books, $20 a piece, and you can get back issues of their magazine; see their shop section which carries lots of books on country living, gardening, seed-saving, raising rabbits, blacksmithing...

At the end of the year you can get a copy of magazines that were created that year. Sounds pretty good.
