This is interesting. Not sure if I would buy one at the $99 price point, although many people pay more than that for just a metal front sight. If the price comes down to $65-75 it would make a reasonable alternative to a red dot optic, especially for this with an astigmatism. And FYI you can only see the illumination from the shooter's vantage.

Not for me, but an interesting idea for SHTF or field expedient front night sight with very few electronic/electrical parts and some tape.

I have 3 kinds of AR-15; one's with optics, ones that use Blitzkrieg sight posts, or ones that use KNS sight posts. The blocky square oem sight post are horrible in my opinion. A light up fiber optic could be worth checking out for me but the KNS runs like $7 and the Blitzkriegs are like $16.
