We are bought into the American political system, with politicians being the ones who are being bought out and paid to make this a way of life in America.
This is what we get when back in Biblical times the Israelites wanted a king just like the locals, they were warned that the king would conscript men into the military, cause taxation, not to mention leading people into constant war, all just like now. Our first president warned us and Benjamin Franklin warned people when he answered a woman who asked, "Sir do we have a republic?" he answered, "Yes if we can keep it.". We're so far away from what our founding fathers set up that it's sickening to us that understand, that is why the Second Amendment was put in The Bill of Rights, when everything got so corrupt it was set up to put things back to the Constitution, sadly we didn't do that and now we have corruption so bad that we are nearing the end of one of the previously most powerful nations on the earth. If any of the founding fathers came back and saw what we have allowed, they'd be yelling at us and probably hang a number of culprits from the yard arms. Personally, I blame the government school systems for not teaching the Constitution and Bill of Rights, I learned to get around the "Old English" writing style that the Constitution was. written in so why is it so hard for teachers to wrap their understanding of it, truth is, they just don't want to because the PTB told them not to educate people because then they would rebel.
