The Dayboat/Launch is 23ft long and intended as a Dayboat or Camp Aboard boat for a small family. It has space for an enclosed toilet. The design is complete drawings for hull but final decisions are left to the builder. It is not step by step instructions like my smaller boats. It cruises at near 8 knots with a 10hp high thrust Yamaha outboard.

How useful are Solar and Electric boats anyhow? The large Solar Electric Mundoo 3 was one of the more interesting projects I've been involved in. It was the brainchild of Robert Ayliffe, then at Duck Flat Wooden Boats and Ted Dexter. This liveaboard boat was featured on the cover of WoodenBoat magazine at the time and was a tremendous success for the owners who found it fitted their needs perfectly.

I am offering my 1986 30' Scout trawler for sale. The boat was built in Midland, Ontario Canada. The first hulls were built by Fairchild Yachts.
I have a 1965 LoneStar Aluminum boat, 23.5 ft Cruiser, with a 1979 Evinrude 150 hp 2 stoke outboard, new upholstery throughout the boat, new floors, 28 gallon plastic tank and a 6 gallon reserve tank, privacy head with a porta-toilet, VHF radio, 2 auto bilge pumps, 2 new marine 12v battery's. At the widest point the boat is almost 8ft wide.Very light under 2k lb, and easy for one person to launch. Also comes with a nice and tight 1995 Pacific dual axle trailer. Also have a 1976 Chrysler 6hp.

My old Sea Breeze, With twin 120's, Anyway, started on boat today, been vacuuming and getting ready to change starter and solenoid.
Bird built another nest in boat with three eggs in it,
moved it out till through, then I set nest back in, after I finished working.

Well, got the starter and solenoid on today.

Also the bird has laid 2 more eggs, in the bird nest in boat, since I've been working on it, that's 5 eggs. So I just put it back again after working on it.
This was last summer, and last trip with our little dog Becky went on , before she passed , she loved the water.
Picture I took that day, 12 turtles on a log.
Will crank it tomorrow, then getting it ready for new carpet. Also the bird has laid 2 more eggs, in the bird nest in boat, since I've been working on it, that's 5 eggs. Not a bad Idea, though I think I can do it even better. Need enough room for a bed in it, and still have room to move around and drive it. First though, like I said in earlier post, I have to get back to where it was last year first.

My dads lifelong friend was the second owner of this beauty, factory named Black Beauty. A 1957 Chris-Craft 33' Futura originally with twin 6 cylinders but when the new owner did a complete restore (with upgrades) they installed twin 454's. I still laugh at the fact that I had to wash and polish this boat on a regular basis and Tommy always told me to try harder to polish the chrome to get a better shine but in my defense it appears the rechrome was the only way to make it shine again.
I am not trying to sell this boat, and I am guessing the owners are not really trying to sell her because it has been for sale quite a while with a pretty steep, but reasonable, price of $395K, but here is a link that explains all this beauty has to offer. I am hoping my next vacation home to Michigan will allow a chance to take a ride on this old memory.
