Can someone tell me about this milsurp mylar?

These bags are new and the perfect size for spaghetti. I researched and the only thing I can find is they are obsolete. Cannot find if they are food safe.

The military is very good with it's specifications.
The bags, formerly known as MIL-B-131 are now called MIL-PRF-131:

BTW, "in accordance with sound manufacturing practices." means the inside is not guaranteed sterile and should be rinsed.
