Down the road there is a 57 BelAir 4-door project car for sale. Not mine, I don't know the guy, body is fairly straight but needs paint, all trim and lights and interior.
Would it be wrong to post the pictures here? Or is there a thread for that kind of stuff? Just thinking someone here might be interested.
Today was the first time I saw it near the road and for sale so I stopped and looked. If I wasn't still trying to finish building my house and didn't have 4 project cars already I would buy it but I am the richest bankrupt guy I know.

I wouldn't buy a 4 door. If it was a 2 door, maybe.

I said the same thing in the past but when the '64 Chevelle Malibu 4-door wagon happened my way years ago I grabbed it. Yup, 4-door wagon but still cool and I get plenty of compliments and offers to buy it. There are plenty of folks who may be interested, maybe because dad or grampa had one. 👍

OK, you're right. A wagon is an exception. A couple years ago there was a 1970 Torino wagon at a local car show. Bone colored, woodgrain, black and chrome Keystones, and a 351- 4bbl Windsor. I would have taken that thing home in a heartbeat...

I knew a great old guy once, named Monday. He was a medic that went ashore on D-day and managed to survive almost every major battle til the end of the war.

His family home and farm were acquired and are now apart of Oakridge. Don't remember if it was just before or during the war.

Similar story to my step grand parents. They lost the family farm when Norris Dam was built. Moved to Anderson Co, and lost that farm when Oak Ridge was built. That comprised 3 separate labs, 2 of which are still open.
The Mondays I knew would have been his grandkids or greats if they were related

I hadn't thought of him in a long time, had passed away in the late 90's. He was one of the funniest people I've ever known. His wife made me a blackberry pie once. She was a TN girl from the area, don't recall her family name.

What the heck, one more car!
