I thank God for blessing you with that cutter. They look really cool. It probably complements your welding tools and skills better than a milling machine.

Ie

When welding we start with multiple parts and combine them into single parts.
When machining we start with a single piece of stock and turn it into a pile of chips and a precise part.

A plasma cutter is definitely on my wish list.

Not sure which would be first.

TIG looks a lot like soldering that I have done a lot of and looks luke fun.

It does. Mostly its just really convenient. I have a lot of ways to cut metal already, but the plasma cutter does it faster than any of them. Not as precisely as the chop saw or band saw, but most of the time I don't need precise cuts.

I will be getting a tig welder, but not a plasma cutter.
