Not for me.Curious if anyone here invests in any crypto.
SHIBA INU has been staying in the negatives for most of the day.
Nope. As soon as the govt gets tired of people dodging income tax with it, they will regulate it and it will become just as imaginary as it always was.Curious if anyone here invests in any crypto.

You never know. Bitcoin was $0.33 back in 2009 and now it’s worth over $55,000. We still have time to see future growth.Nope. As soon as the govt gets tired of people dodging income tax with it, they will regulate it and it will become just as imaginary as it always was.
Right now it's like the old game of 'musical chairs' and the music is still playing.
The only difference is, when the music stops, there will be no chairs.
...As well as an inevitable catastrophic plunge. You never know. Bitcoin was $0.33 back in 2009 and now it’s worth over $55,000. We still have time to see future growth.

You wanna buy some very expensive, highly-collectable, Beanie Babies?I am still waiting for pet rocks and mood rings to come back.
Crypto is just bit off the interweb somewhere for me. Not putting my money in that.
Ben
I SHTF...Brass, Lead, food, etc etc. if Its' on a computer it ain't gonna be worth . I see it now : I got 50000 bucks in bitcoin someplace on the web we can't see, wanna trade for that rabbit? NO. Really, it's the same story for gold or silver, UNLESS I have a place to trade it, its scrap metal.
As soon as I get a new flux capacitor for my time machine I am going to travel back in time, and buy some, then sell it 4 months ago, buy a bunch of gold and silver and perhaps some other heavy metals with it, but flux capacitors are on back order until Faucci starts telling the whole truth,so....
If it sounds like they are about to become available I will post it here, then you can fix your time machine and I won't be solely to blame for ripping a huge gash in the time space continuumI would be interested in a working flux capacitor

My investment isn't about bartering for a grid down scenario. That would be completely counter-productive and wouldn't make a lick of sense considering it's on a computer. However if (in my case, SHIBA) ever hit as little as one cent I would make an enormous profit off a small investment which could in turn be used towards firstly, the Lord, then my homestead. This is about the here and now, not the apocalypse.Brass, Lead, food, etc etc. if Its' on a computer it ain't gonna be worth . This is called "speculating" and is perfectly fine to do with disposable income. You never know. Bitcoin was $0.33 back in 2009 and now it’s worth over $

Yeah my kid told me to buy SHIBA a few weeks ago so I did. I'm still net positive on that. My crypto has done pretty well! To me its just play money, don't have a lot of money in it, but now I can sell it off and fund our well for the property.Curious if anyone here invests in any crypto.

Sell sell sell! (is what the Duke guys were saying in the movie Trading Places)Yeah my kid told me to buy SHIBA a few weeks ago so I did. I'm still net positive on that. My brother is really into it and has made bank!
I would agree with you on that. For some it can easily turn into an addiction. This is called "speculating" and is perfectly fine to do with disposable income.
Much better than investing in a ski-boat.
But like the 'penny-stocks' from years ago, people get carried away playing with it. Beware.
Totally get this.I buddy of mine has been doing it and its been making him huge profits. But I am still leery of it and getting in after the getting was good is not my MO.
I threw some play money into crypto about a month ago: Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana. By play money, I mean money I would be willing to lose in several visits to a casino. (So, only enough to get my wife mad at me if I lost it all. )
I also put some of my retirement savings into Grayscale Bitcoin and Ethereum funds about two months ago (or so). Not really play money, but not so much of my savings to harm me greatly if I lost it all. (My wife is actually a more liberal investor than I am, so this actually seemed more safe.)
Big swings up this week...but I don't really own enough to get rich...that was made clear to me today. I was just trying to put some wealth into something other than the US Dollar. Granted, there is not much behind cryptocurrencies. I guess we all have to ask ourselves what is really behind the Dollar. More than crypto, to be sure...but......
Not sure if I will keep this up. Just watching and thinking.
Don't spend it all in one place!I put $100 into cryptos a while back. I've just been watching it bounce around. Just checked it. Currently at $212
Don't spend it all in one place!
You know...when you can pay for hay with crypto...crypto will have arrived, and it will be time to get more crypto!
