First time I've seen a pet otter
There are tracks on our docks where the otter have been sliding in the snow. They are a regular occurrence here. They fish in a wide area so as to not fish out anyone place.
First pet otter I have ever seen. It is adorable. How could you not love that face?
As long as 'interested parties' understand that the otter is a carnivore, and that though individual otters may be tamed, they are not domesticated.
As 'country folks', I am confident that you understand the significance of the distinction.
Designer pets are all the rage, but it rarely works out as planned.
VThil so are domestic dogs.
I know but I thought it was cute and lovable.
Meer, did you stop reading at 'carnivore'?
guess so. But its still cute VThil.
Dunno about cute, in isolation anyway. They do understand the concept of 'play' in groups, as seen in mudsliding.
Mud is good, we use to slide in it too. Also it makes a great 'anchor'.
