This is the type of equipment I've been around all my life. So.e os nee. The big blue-green on the right is his home desigbed and built kw amplifier. And above is a Johnson kw matchbox. He has a qtr kw matchbox also.

Ah, now this is the type of organized chaos I can relate to!

Those old antenna tuners are held in pretty high regard - lots of folks still use them.
 
The KW Johnson matchbox is the one that my ex bought at some hamfest and traded to Dad for my hand in marriage way back in 1971. I have an affinity to the Johnson kw and 1/4 kw matchboxes.

I wish I had a photo of the ham room in the last home I was in while married. We both were hams. We had slow scan tv and watched the first mars rover signal before it was processed for commercial tv. Very neat.
