Here is one of our old pens and the 6 hens we have. This pen has weathered about 10 hurricanes over the years.Not direct but cat force winds.
Pens are completely covered all around, 2 kinds of fence on bottom, top,sides and 3 kinds of netting. Snake, coon,fox, etc. proof . Snakes have tried their best to get in. Hens free range during day .
