in my fanny pack I keep a spool of upholstery thread needles and some hooks and some split shot. upholstery thread is very very hard to break and you can sew or fish with it

Mar, I had what is called here a Cuban Reel. I got really good with it. It is a spool reel and you sling the baited line out like a lasso. Pulling a fish in takes some practice and gloves if the fish is big.

I was really good with a net too, but last time I tried was the last time I will try. I think it was the net . I use to throw a 8ft, but new one is 5 ft. I use to catch all our bait .
