Very interesting. It amazes me how people did things centuries ago that seem almost impossible with today's technology.
 
not many modern people could live using the old ways, that's why the mortality rate will be huge when catastrophy hits.

When push comes to shove, how many today would survive with no power, no grocery stores, no water coming out of the faucet, no fuel deliveries to the local gas station, etc? When their food on hand runs out, they have no clue what they will do next. Most cities do not even have a 30 day supply of food on hand. Things would get real nasty, real quick!! :cop:
